In 2019, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back on NBC- here's all you need to know about the new airtime, premiere date and story. At the end of the 2017/18, the show was cancelled by Fox after five years on the air but, after just a day of panic, picking it up for a sixth season.

Now, the adventures of Terry (Terry Cruz) and Captain Holt (Andre Brauer), Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) will continue into 2019. The show of the NBC era promises more of the same.

The rest of the season, Brooklyn Nine-Nine will run in the same time slot (although make takes weeks out for certain events, as is usual for network TV shows).


WHERE BROOKLYN NINE-NINE SEASON 5 LEFT OFF



Brooklyn Nine-Nine has background character developments and always had a deft mix of standalone episodes. The previous year, this centred on Holt's campaign to become police commissioner and its complications with mobster Seamus Murphy, and then Jack and Amy's wedding. The Season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine ended with the couple getting married.


WHAT TO EXPECT IN BROOKLYN NINE-NINE SEASON 6



The season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will immediately have to deal with Holt's future and the potential changes him being made commissioner could mean. Longer term, Jake and Amy will be continuing as colleagues and have to deal with being newly-weds.

Later, Bigger changes are coming to the Brooklyn Nine-Nine in season 6. Chelsea Peretti announced that she was leaving the show in October, with Gina's final episode set to be part of season 6. It's sure this is one of the biggest events in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's history.

Now the question arises who won 2018's Halloween gambit between Peralta and Holt.
